Moseyed about town on Friday – the first day of the Cotee River Bike Fest. Enjoyed a meal and a drink on the rooftop at The Social NPR, then took a stroll by the downtown stage and then to Sims Park before calling it a night.
Day two in the afternoon seemed to be busier than last year and it wasn’t all leather and lace for those coming out to see the sights. Check out the slideshow below for more scenes from the 2023 Cotee River Bike Fest.
“I want this to be a happy place for people, whether they are someone in their 20s where the building has been boarded up for their whole life or someone in their 60s who has memories of going to the high school prom or a wedding here,” owner Jim Gunderson said. “Hopefully, it will offer enough of an experience that people will find their spot here that would sort of tickle them.” […]
