In March of 2023, after close to three years of self-financing this local online newsletter, What’s What New Port Richey put out a call for sponsors and advertisers who have an interest in keeping the essential local information and news flowing to the community through this modest grassroots effort.
Funds raised through sponsorship/advertising go to the growing expenses of producing What’s What NPR along with a free bi-weekly newsletter that goes out to 1,325 subscribers (as of 10/01/23) who have signed up to have it delivered directly to their email inboxes.
According to stats/analytics, (03/18/2024) the site garnered over 227,00 total views and averages 3,800 – 4,000 a month. It might not seem much in the broader picture of the World Wide Web, but our target audience is decidedly local.
