Experience behind-the-scenes operations and engaging activities – with shelter pets – to raise donations for Friends of Animal Services.

Pasco County Animal Services will host a "slumber pawty" on April 6 , joining others across the country allowing community members to spend the night in the shelter – side-by-side with shelter pets – to raise donations for Friends of Animal Services.

PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  Our first “pawty” was such a success, we’re throwing another one! Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is hosting our 2nd ‘Shelter Slumber Pawty’ and we’d love for you to spend the night with our animals Saturday, April 5, 2025!

Experience behind-the-scenes operations and engaging activities – side-by-side with shelter pets – to raise donations for Friends of Animal Services.

“The first ‘Shelter Slumber Pawty’ happened in 2017 in St. Louis, and we’re proud to join more than 160 shelters to offer this unique experience this year,” says PCAS Director Mike Shumate. “The money raised will help purchase a mobile adoption vehicle, offering more accessible offsite adoption events, pop-up clinics and food drives to our community.”
