Below, you will find political candidate news and political meeting information submitted by local candidates and political organizations. This information is solely published as a service so they can engage with the local political process and better acquaint themselves with the people they are being asked to cast a vote for. It does not imply endorsement of any political party, issue, or candidate.
NOTE: About Submissions:
All official political parties and groups are welcome to submit via official press release notices. We are looking for information such as candidate announcements, “meet the candidate” events, and local party and group meeting dates – online or virtual – guest speakers, etc.
No opinion pieces or political endorsements will be accepted or published. Just the facts, please – think “who, what, where, and when”. Some press releases will be culled for clarity and space considerations. Include a link to the party/candidate website so readers can explore further if they choose to.

Team Stephanie Vazquez
Pasco County, FL — Stephanie Vazquez, candidate for Pasco County Commission, District 2, attended the Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida conference this past weekend, showing support for educators and public school advocates from across the state.
“As a mom, a military veteran, and a proud product of public schools, I know how critical strong public education is to a thriving community,” Vazquez said. “Pasco students and teachers deserve better, like funding that meets real needs, classrooms that aren’t overcrowded, and leadership that puts kids first.”
Vazquez is running to bring transparency, accountability, and people-first priorities to the Pasco County Commission. Her platform includes holding developers accountable for growth impacts, fighting for term limits, and ensuring public schools remain a central focus in county planning decisions.
The election for Pasco County Commission, District 2, will be held on November 3, 2026.
