~~Florida’s Sports Coast program provides up to $10,000 for events~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Florida’s Sports Coast, the destination management organization for Pasco County, is pleased to announce applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program (MMSP)! Designed to spotlight artistic, cultural and unique experiences beyond the world of sports, this program offers an incredible opportunity to bring these events and attractions to life. Events like these have the potential to attract visitors to our county – and the MMSP provides up to $10,000 to expand the marketing reach of your event to audiences outside the Tampa Bay area.
“We’re excited to partner with organizations, as it represents a fantastic opportunity to showcase our vibrant community and connect with visitors and residents in meaningful ways,” said Executive Director Adam Thonas. “Collaborations like this fuel our ongoing mission to create memorable experiences for everyone who comes to Pasco County.”
For 2026-2027 cycle, we’re also implementing three additional funding incentives:
- Core Marketing Matching Sponsorship program: Providing up to $5,000
- Long-distance Promotions Incentive: Providing up to $2,000
- Room Night Generation Incentive: Offering up to $3,000

Requirements:
- The event must take place between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027
- Dollar-for-dollar match and/or in-kind goods
- MMSP funds are for event-related marketing expenditures only
- Marketing dollars must be used to promote the event to tourists outside Pasco County
