City of New Port Richey Public Works Dept.
New Port Richey, Florida – Weather permitting, the City of New Port Richey Public Works Department will temporarily close Main Street between Adams St and Madison St on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, to perform scheduled tree trimming maintenance.
This closure is expected to begin at 7:30 AM and remain in effect until approximately 12 PM (noon).
To ensure safety and minimize traffic disruption, a detour will be in place during this time:
- Westbound traffic will be rerouted via
Florida Avenue - Eastbound traffic will be rerouted via Nebraska Avenue
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and to follow all posted signage and detour instructions.
The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to maintain the safety and
aesthetics of our tree canopy along Main Street.
