PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Delivering Care Beyond the Call! Pasco County Fire Rescue (PCFR) introduces our new Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Program, a forward-thinking initiative delivering compassionate, proactive healthcare directly to patients who need it most.

MIH isn’t your typical emergency response. The MIH Team — embedded in PCFR’s Community Risk Reduction unit — is made up of highly trained paramedics and healthcare professionals who specialize in in-home care, health education and helping patients navigate local resources.

“By focusing on prevention and personalized support, the MIH team helps ease the burden on emergency services while empowering individuals to take control of their health journey,” says Fire Chief Ryan Guynn.
“It’s about improving outcomes and enhancing lives – a perfect example of our commitment to
Caring Beyond the Call.”

Whether it’s chronic disease management, post-hospital follow-ups, or simply helping someone
connect with the right support, the MIH Program is designed to reduce emergency calls and limit
repeat hospital visits by meeting people where they are – both physically and emotionally.
Our MIH Team is already changing lives in Pasco County: Watch the video or visit mypas.co/PCFRMIH to learn more.
