~~Up to 1,000 FREE trees handed out, while supplies last~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Get ready to grow something great! We’re celebrating National Arbor Day with a big community tree giveaway – and you’re invited to take one home. Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources is excited to give away between 600 and 1,000 three-to-seven-gallon trees – limit one per person – while supplies last.
WHAT: Tree Giveaway for National Arbor Day
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 8 a.m. to Noon
WHERE: Starkey Wilderness Park | 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd. | New Port Richey
Withlacoochee River Park | 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd. | Dade City
Crews Lake Wilderness Park | 16739 Crews Lake Dr. | Shady Hills
Follow the signs for tree pickup at each park. At Crews Lake, trees will be handed out in the Earth Day event area.
You can choose from a variety of trees, including:
- Holly
- Longleaf Pine
- Magnolia
- Red Maple
- Slash Pine
- Southern Red Cedar
Remaining trees will be planted throughout Pasco to support a greener community.
