PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  From hurricanes to wildfires, Pasco County helps you prepare for emergencies that can strike any time of year.  Pasco County Emergency Management invites you and your family to Pasco’s 2026 Disaster Preparedness Expo May 2 to help you be ready not only for hurricanes, but also for other potential disasters. 

WHAT:    Pasco County Disaster Preparedness Expo

WHERE: Pasco Safety Town | Shady Hills

WHEN:    Saturday, May 2 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“Protecting our community remains our highest priority,” says Pasco Emergency Management Director Andy Fossa.  “Our annual Disaster Expo gives you the vital information and resources you need to prepare you and your family for any emergency.”

Pasco’s 2026 Disaster Expo will help you:   

  • Plan for Evacuations                          
  • Register for Special Needs Assistance
  • Protect Your Home or Business        
  • Understand Severe Weather with a Panel Discussion featuring Tampa Bay 28’s Chief Meteorologist, Denis Phillips
  • Prepare Go-Kits for People & Pets

Kids can create go-kitsvisit our touch-a-truck display, and enjoy other activities – while parents can speak with our Emergency Management experts.  We’ll also have food trucks, and you can grab a copy of our 2026 Pasco County Disaster Preparedness Guide.
