Race benefits annual shoes and socks drive supporting student success

HUDSON, FL —- Lace up for a great cause! Pasco County Government, in partnership with United Way of Pasco County, is excited to roll out our very first Two Good Soles 5K on Saturday, September 12, 2026. This community-run support supports our 11th annual Two Good Soles Shoes & Socks Drive, helping students start the school year with confidence.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this 5K as a new way for our community to step up for local kids,” said Board Chairman Jack Mariano. “Every mile, every donation and every participant helps make a difference for students who need support.”

WHAT: Two Good Soles 5K

WHEN: Saturday, September 12, 2026, beginning promptly at 8 a.m.

WHERE: Sunwest Park, 17362 Old Dixie Highway, Hudson

Runners, walkers and families are welcome. We encourage you to bring new shoes or socks to donate to help provide new shoes and socks for students in Pasco County Schools.
