Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply
TAMPA, Fla. (March 4, 2025) – Suncoast Credit Union announces the return of its “Every Hit is a Win” program in partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays for the 2025 baseball season. The initiative, now in its fourth year, is designed to engage Tampa Bay Rays fans while supporting nonprofit organizations across Florida.
The program works in a unique way. With every base hit made by the Rays, Suncoast will donate $79 into a donation pot – one dollar for each of the credit union’s 79 branches around the state. Funds are collected throughout each month during the regular season and then donated to nonprofit organizations. The monthly donation amount is capped at $10,000.
Each month, Suncoast will select two nonprofit organizations that will compete for votes via a poll on Suncoast’s website. The organization that receives more votes earns a higher portion of the monthly pot. The program runs from April through September 2026. And nonprofits selected will compete beginning in May. April nonprofits are program participants with the most votes from previous seasons.

Since its inception, “Every Hit is a Win” has helped 39 organizations and donated nearly $200,000 to assist people and organizations all over the state.
