LAND O’ LAKES, FL —- Pasco County’s people and pet population will benefit from a $50,000
grant recently awarded to Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) by Petco Love.


PCAS will use the funding to assist pets and families impacted by recent storms and to improve
preparations for future storm events.


“We are incredibly grateful to the Petco Love Foundation for their commitment to animal welfare in
our community,” says PCAS Director Mike Shumate. “This funding will make a significant impact on our
programs and enable us to better serve the animals and families of Pasco County.”


Petco Love is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the bond between people and pets. Since 1999, they have awarded over $300 million to support adoption and lifesaving initiatives.
