Odessa, FL (October 2024) — The taps are flowing again in Odessa! After months of anticipation, Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Company is proud to announce the opening of its newly renovated second brewery: Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory. Located at 2330 Success Dr. in the West Pasco Industrial Park, Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory is not just another brewery—it’s a revival. After acquiring the previous brewery space, which had shuttered its doors under unfortunate circumstances, the team at Thirsty Buffalo took it upon itself to create a fresh vision. The building underwent a total metamorphosis, with extensive renovations inside, marrying industrial grit with modern design. Inside, patrons will find an open-concept taproom that invites guests to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and smells of the brewing process. This new production facility will allow Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Co. the ability to expand its distribution presence in Tampa Bay. Later this fall, expect to see more of their Captain Kolsch and Trailmaker Pale Ale in bars and restaurants, with cans soon to follow.
CEO and Co-Owner Erin Bishop reflected on the journey, stating, “We didn’t just want to open another brewery—we wanted to create a space where craft beer fans could truly feel a part of the process. It’s about creating something bigger than us, something that celebrates the bold spirit of craft brewing and combining that with the strength of our community. We believe in second chances, and this brewery is our chance to create something extraordinary.”
In addition to its renowned beers, Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory has partnered with local Havana Dreamers Cafe to develop a fun, creative food menu with dishes that combine the heartiness of Buffalo bar food with the slow-roasted, mojo pork that reminds you of Abuela’s kitchen. Think crispy Buffalo-style wings, three types of Cuban sandwiches, and loaded platters of French fry-style nachos topped with picadillo and beer cheese that will make your taste buds dance. As Owner of Havana Dreamers, Rudy Gonzalez puts it, “Our food reflects the same spirit as the beer at the Brew Factory—bold, flavorful, and a little unexpected. It’s the perfect fusion of two worlds we love.”
While the beer may take center stage, the real star of Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory is its inviting atmosphere designed to be a community gathering spot. The taproom boasts expansive seating, a semi-private event space for gatherings, and a clear view of where all the magic happens in the brewery. Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory will also offer brewery tours, local live music, and events to keep the space buzzing with energy.
Grand Opening Celebration
The Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory will host its Grand Opening and Oktoberfest celebration on October 19th with an all-day celebration opening at 11 AM featuring live music, German cuisine, brewery tours, and, of course, plenty of beer!
