New Chair/Vice Chair/2nd Vice Chair named

PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  The Pasco Board of County Commissioners (BCC) reorganized at its December 10, 2024, meeting in New Port Richey.

The board elected Kathryn Starkey as chair of the BCC, Jack Mariano as vice chair and Seth Weightman as 2nd vice chair.

“It’s a privilege to serve as the chair of this commission,” says Starkey. “Pasco County has made remarkable strides in becoming a great place to live, work and play, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve achieved.  I look forward to building on that success to continue making Pasco County an even better place for all.”

The BCC is comprised of the following members:

§  Commissioner Ron Oakley                    District 1

§  2nd Vice Chair Seth Weightman            District 2

§  Chair Kathryn Starkey                          District 3

§  Commissioner Lisa Yeager                    District 4

§  Vice Chair Jack Mariano                       District 5

Pasco County Commission meetings are usually held every other Tuesday, alternating between the West Pasco Government Center in New Port Richey and the Historic Pasco County Courthouse in Dade City.

All BCC meetings are streamed live online and broadcast on Pasco TV.
