PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Help your community by joining the fight against opioid addiction. The Pasco County Opioid Task Force is temporarily pausing the Year Four Opioid Treatment, Prevention and Recovery Fund application period.

WHEN: June 10 to July 10, 2026 (by 5 p.m.) Paused — new dates forthcoming
The Opioid Task Force is pausing the release of the Year Four funding application period to allow the community time to review and process the recommendations outlined in the USF Gap Analysis report. Further updates will be provided as new dates are determined and the application window opens.

~~Funding proposals must support treatment, prevention, recovery~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Help your community by joining the fight against opioid addiction. The Pasco County Opioid Task Force is opening year four of the Opioid Treatment, Prevention and Recovery Fund to support programs and services for people in Pasco County impacted by the opioid crisis. Community projects seeking grant funding can apply from June 10 to July 10, 2026.
WHAT: Opioid Treatment, Prevention and Recovery Fund Application
WHEN: June 10 to July 10, 2026 (by 5 p.m.)
HOW: Applicants must register for and attend a virtual information session:
- Wednesday, June 3 | 2:30 p.m. | Link: mypas.co/OpioidGrantSession1
- Friday, June 5 | 10:00 a.m. | Link: mypas.co/OpioidGrantSession2
The application link will be provided to everyone who attends a virtual session.
“The Board of County Commissioners is fully committed to ensuring this grant funding continues to reach individuals and families who depend on these prevention, treatment and recovery services,” says Pasco Board of County Commissioners Chair Jack Mariano. “The opioid crisis does not pause and neither will our dedication to addressing it here in Pasco County.”
The more than $6 million fund provides grants to community-based organizations across Pasco County with projects that directly address treatment, prevention and recovery for people and communities affected by the opioid crisis.
