What’s What New Port Richey
The 2024 – 2025 performing arts season is wrapping up, so now’s your time to catch the Richey Community Orchestra if you haven’t got your tickets already, and put an order for the last theatrical show, Little Shop of Horrors, at Richey Suncoast.
The RST will be offering a full slate of events in May, with most of those listed below. Libraries offer some special events and regular offerings such as scoring sometime in the Open Studio at the Centennial Park Branch, where patrons are welcome to use library equipment, supplies, or just the space to pursue creative endeavors.
There is also a full slate of gardening events presented by the UF/IFAS Master Gardeners, with many of the programs held at library branches – scroll down to link to that as well as programs coming up with Pasco County Parks and Rec.
And the City of Port Richey gets their Centennial Celebration going with events held in April and May, including the Mayor’s 1920s-themed ball, parade, and food truck fest.
This is just a sneak peek, mind you, so look for the complete calendars at the first of the month. If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for the WWNPR biweekly newsletter and have the news delivered directly to your inbox.
