Like to plan ahead? Mark your calendars! Here’s a glimpse of some of the events happening in July in and around New Port Richey. The full calendar will be coming on or before July 1.



Patriotic Ride & Roll Golf Cart Parade, 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3, in downtown New Port Richey | $10 – $20 for participants | Free for spectators

Line-up begins at 7 p.m. behind Bourbon on Main, located at 6307 Grand Boulevard in Downtown New Port Richey. The ride begins sharply at 8 p.m. Prizes for various categories. For information on this and other NPR Main Street events & offerings, visit www.nprmainstreet.org


* OTB | Sunset Beach Concert Series featuring The Take Two Band, 7 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs | Free entry + free shuttle

Concerts are on the first Thursday of the month (February through November) and start at 7 pm. In the event of inclement weather and the concert is canceled before the start time, the concert will be held the following Thursday. Free shuttle provided from Tarpon Springs High on Gulf Blvd. to Sunset Beach.


Pasco Audubon Morning Nature Walk, 7:30 a.m. Satruday, July 5 at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in New Port Richey | Free

Meet in the parking lot at the Education Center for a 1 – 4 mile walk.


Stand Up Comedy Night featuring Matt Fernandez, 7 p.m., July 5 at the Richey Suncoast Theatre in downtown New Port Richey | $12 – $25

At Your Leisure – The Tides of Time Interactive Art Exhibit in Downtown New Port Richey



NPR Library Summer Concert Series featuring Ryan Marchand, 6-7 p.m. Friday, July 11 on the first floor of the library | Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Free

Ryan Marchand is a live-looping artist and producer who crafts immersive soundscapes with layered percussion, vocal harmonies, and dynamic guitar effects. Inspired by Pink Floyd and The Beatles, he toured North America for over a decade, sharing stages with Ziggy Marley and Apocalyptica. His performances blend technical precision with emotional depth, creating a one-of-a-kind live music experience.


Birding By Bike, 8 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in New Port Richey | Free

Meet at the Education Center at the park.


Kids Chopped Competition, 5:30 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at the New Port Richey Library | Free

Cook your way through our mystery basket in our annual Chopped competition! For youth ages 8-17, but all are welcome to come be spectators. Contestants must participate in teams of two or three. Advance signup is required; however, signing up does not guarantee a spot.

 Teams that are signed up will be selected at random one week prior to the event and notified. Please only register one team member to represent the team.

Pasco Parks & Rec | Family Scalloping Day Camp, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, July 18 and July 25 at Green Key Beach| Robert Rees Park in New Port Richey | $50

Join Pasco Outdoor Adventures for an unforgettable guided paddle adventure out to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico to harvest scallops right from the sea! Take home as many scallops as you can find. Please note that the activity can be tough on the hands and may not be suitable for those with a weak grip.

Karaoke Night, 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at the New Port Richey Library | Free


Sing your heart out at the library in celebration of International Karaoke Day! This is a great chance to share your love of music, connect with others, and enjoy a lively, supportive atmosphere. Pizza and mocktails provided! Registration is required if you want to sing, but anyone is welcome to attend! Participants must be 13 or older. No explicit lyrics, please. This after-hours event will take place on the second floor of the library. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the event start time


Local Artist Gallery, 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 25 at the New Port Richey Library in downtown NPR

This special evening event will showcase the incredible talent of artists from right here in New Port Richey. Stroll through the gallery, meet with artists, and support your local art community by browsing and purchasing one-of-a-kind pieces. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

If you’re an artist who is interested in displaying your art, please complete the Local Artist Gallery Application Form no later than July 18th.
