What’s What New Port Richey
It doesn’t take much. Maybe a well-planned or spur-of-the-moment venture where the simple shade of the Florida hammock’s green canopy or a walk by a lake sprinkled with water lilies can bring brightness or perhaps even better, a sense of calm to the day.
These Florida winter days are our good fortune to count when things are awry or you just need to step away from whatever it is you are doing.
March brings several local options, whether you like to hike or bike. Bird watch or star gaze. To go fish, learn how to shoot a bow and arrow, or get some tips on that spring garden you want to get started from those who know best.
There are a few local festivals on the March calendar with a focus on the arts, strawberries and furry friends, the blues, and Florida folk music. Add to that outdoor concerts and arts and craft activities in the park and the opportunity to clean up what others left behind because that’s part of the start of making a better world.
