PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  As heavy rain continues moving through our area, Pasco County Government is reminding you two sandbag stations are available 24/7 to help protect property in low-lying areas from potential flooding:

  • Pasco County Public Works (C-Barn)

30908 Warder Road | San Antonio

  • Magnolia Valley Golf Course

7223 Massachusetts Avenue | New Port Richey

All sandbag locations are self-serve and open to Pasco County residents.  Sand and sandbags will be restocked daily, weather permitting.  Please bring a shovel and be prepared to fill your sandbags.

Turn Around, Don’t Drown!  Avoid flooded areas, especially if water is flowing.  Do NOT attempt to cross streams or flooded roads.  Be especially cautious at night or when visibility is low.  Keep in mind, vehicles driving through flooded streets can create waves, causing additional property damage.

Standing water around homes and neighborhoods can increase mosquito activity and the risk of mosquito‑borne illnesses, such as dengue fever.  Here’s how you can help:

  • Regularly drain outdoor containers (i.e., plant saucers, buckets, toys, trash can lids, etc.)
  • Empty and refill pet water bowls and birdbaths every few days
  • Remove yard debris that traps water
  • Ensure gutters and drains flow freely

These small actions can make a big difference in protecting your home and community.
