PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Pasco County’s Transportation Engineering Department wants to hear from you! We’re hosting a public workshop, Thursday, February 6, 2025, to present alternatives to extending Bud Bexley Parkway east of Sunlake Boulevard to connect with US 41 – about 2.6 miles.
The project is designed to improve regional mobility and connectivity to destinations and communities in central Pasco County and relieve traffic congestion and improve safety on State Road (SR) 54.

This is an open-house style meeting. While there won’t be a formal presentation, county staff and design engineering consultants will be at the workshop to answer your questions, address your concerns and collect feedback.
Project Details:
- A four-lane, median-divided roadway
- A multi-use path as part of the Orange Belt Trail
- A bridge overpass to CSX Railroad
