County News | Pasco County Hosts 30th Annual Earth Day Celebration

The celebration includes opportunities to recycle household waste and a Florida-native plant sale, upcycle vendors, ladybug release, educational displays and animal exhibits

SPRING HILL, FL  —-  Celebrate Mother Earth with the entire family at Pasco County’s 30th annual Earth Day Celebration!  This FREE event promotes environmental education with tips on how to become more sustainable.  The celebration includes a Florida-native plant sale, upcycle vendors, ladybug release, educational displays and animal exhibits!

     WHEN:     Saturday, April 26, 2025

     TIME:       9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

     WHERE:  Crews Lake Wilderness Park | 16739 Crews Lake Drive | Spring Hill

Take advantage of on-site recycling and waste disposal opportunities:

  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection
  • Electronics Recycling
  • Document Shredding by Shred 360 from 9 a.m. to noon | 3-bag limit
  • Mercury Disposal | Bring old thermostats/thermometers & receive a $5 gift card

UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension is offering two workshops at the event: Rain Barrel Workshop and Composting Workshop.  Seating is limited and pre-registration is required for the workshops:
