Civics | Political Group Meetings, Candidate Announcements & Media Releases | January 2026

Updated January 5, 2026

Below, you will find political candidate news and political meeting information submitted by local candidates and political organizations. This information is solely published as a service so they can engage with the local political process and better acquaint themselves with the people they are being asked to cast a vote for. It does not imply endorsement of any political party, issue, or candidate.

NOTE: About Submissions:

All official political parties and groups are welcome to submit via official press release notices about UPCOMING EVENTS so voters can explore and educate themselves before casting that vote. Information such as candidate announcements, “meet the candidate” events, and local party and group meeting dates – online or virtual – guest speakers, etc.

No opinion pieces or political endorsements will be accepted or published. Just the facts, please – think “who, what, where, and when”. Some press releases will be culled for clarity and space considerations. Include a link to the party/candidate website so readers can explore further if they choose to.

Send official press release to Michele Miller at mmiller@whatswhatnewportrichey.com

NOTE: To Readers: Discernment is a mighty tool, so while we are glad you are here, we encourage you to explore beyond this website.
