NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — October 7, 2026— Warrior Wellness Program Inc. will host its annual A Night of Gratitude Veterans Day Dinner on November 11, 2026, at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey. Presented by the Gilliss “Friendly” Family, the event will bring local veterans together for dinner, entertainment, and an evening dedicated to honoring their service. Each veteran may attend at no cost and bring one guest.

“Veterans Day is about more than saying thank you. It’s about showing up for the people who served. This is our community’s chance to do exactly that,” said Chris Sowell, Executive Director of Warrior Wellness Program.

The dinner will provide an opportunity for veterans to spend time with fellow service members, family, and neighbors in a setting created specifically to celebrate them. Warrior Wellness Program expects to welcome approximately 200 veterans and guests. Spartan Manor’s catering team will provide the dinner, featuring chicken and vegetarian entrees. The evening’s entertainment will include a DJ and program.

Community Support Makes the Evening Possible

The Gilliss “Friendly” Family returns as presenting sponsor for the second consecutive year. Local businesses and residents are also invited to support the event through table sponsorships, entertainment sponsorships, in-kind gifts, and contributions toward commemorative gift bags and door prizes.

A $25 Honor Guard sponsorship allows community members to honor or remember a veteran with a personalized placard displayed at a dinner table. Other sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $1,500, with additional options for gifts and contributions.

“Our family is proud to support an evening that brings veterans together and reminds them how much their service means to this community. We hope every veteran who attends knows they are surrounded by people who are grateful for them,” said John Gilliss of the Gilliss “Friendly” Family.
