Branch Out This Fall: Pasco County Offers Free Trees

PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  Fall for our second tree giveaway of the year – and it’s twice as nice!  Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources (PRNR) is giving away 1,500 trees on Saturday, October 10.  To streamline the process, you must create an account through our new lottery-based registration system.

WHAT:          Fall Tree Giveaway

WHEN:          Pick up Saturday, October 10 | 8 a.m. – Noon

WHERE:       Starkey Wilderness Park | 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd. | New Port Richey
                        Withlacoochee River Park | 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd. | Dade City
                         Crews Lake Wilderness Park | 16739 Crews Lake Dr. | Shady Hills

Registration is open September 21 to October 1.  If you’re selected to receive a tree, you’ll be notified by October 2.  You must register at: mypas.co/FreeTreeRegistration

You can choose from a variety of trees, including:

• Dahoon Holly
• Little Gem Magnolia
• Red Cedar
• Red Maple
