City News | Grand Boulevard Multi-Use Path Project Gets Underway – Expect Closures

Drivers should allow for extra travel time in and around the affected area.

Locals can expect daily closures.

New Port Richey, Florida – The City of New Port Richey has begun work on its Grand Blvd. Multi-Use Path Project which will enhance accessibility and connectivity from Grand Blvd. to Gulf Dr.  As part of the project, periodic road closures will need to occur.  Therefore, beginning Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Grand Blvd., between Craft St. and High St., will be closed daily until work in the area is completed.  Please refer to the map below for details of the closure and detour.  Drivers should allow for extra travel time in and around the affected area.

The City is committed to minimizing disruptions and will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of residents, businesses, and commuters.
