You get up to the voting booth and while you might know who you are voting for in national and state races you might not have a clue as to who is running for local office. It’s important that you do. And while you can do your own internet search to learn more, there are also opportunities to meet the candidates in person which for many, can be an important barometer as to who they will vote for.

Non-Partisan Candidate Forum Set for July 18

League of Women Voters | Pasco & Pinellas

Candidates in non-partisan races in the August 20, 2024, Primary Election will take part in a Candidate
Forum at t 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, in Hudson.

The event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Hillsborough and Pasco Counties
and the Pasco County National Organization for Women. It will be held at the Hudson Regional
Library at 8012 Library Rd., Hudson.

The forum is free and open to the public.


All candidates for the Pasco County School Board, Circuit and County Judge, and Mosquito
Control
have been invited to participate. Please note that while voters must be registered with a
political party to vote in partisan races, ALL VOTERS may vote for non-partisan races in the
primary election.


Both organizations encourage members of the public to attend the forum and learn more about
the participating candidates and the policies and programs they support.

  • The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Nationwide

Early Voting Dates

  • Primary Election – August 10-17
  • General Election – October 21-November 2
