Pasco County Property Appraiser

Through local efforts, the Step Up for Pasco Students Back-to-School Fundraiser was recently able to donate 2,862 pairs of new shoes and 204 backpacks to Pasco County Schools.

Property Appraiser Mike Wells was proud to join entrepreneur and philanthropist Jacques Hakim, Pasco Sheriff’s Office Charities and YMCA of the Suncoast to share the results of their collaborative effort.

Superintendent Kurt Browning has teams ready to put the donations to good use for students in need as the school year begins. “It’s amazing the impact a pair of shoes will have on a student,” Browning said.  Sincere thanks to all who supported this effort!
