~~Animal Services partners with local shelters & rescues for March 14 event~~
DADE CITY, FL —- Hundreds of pets are looking for a ‘furever’ home – and you can help make that happen! Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is partnering with other area animal shelters and rescues in a Mega Adoption Event – Saturday, March 14, 2026. The one-day event will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats.
WHAT: Pasco Mega Adoption Event
WHEN: March 14, 2026
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
WHERE: Pasco County Fairgrounds
Dade City
“We continue to be over capacity and events like this make a tremendous difference,” says PCAS Director Gary Herrero. “This is your chance to help save a life by giving a pet a ‘furever’ home while meeting your new best friend.”

- Calypso Cat Rescue
- Cat Haven
- Dachshunds Seeking Forever Homes
- Florida Cocker Spaniel Rescue
- Humane Society of Pasco County
- Runaways Animal Rescue
All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home with their new families. Food trucks and vendors will also be available.
