Pasco County Media Relations & Communications
~~Properties must be registered or renewed by April 30, 2026~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Pasco County is streamlining property registration with a new, online tool designed for convenience and compliance. The updated, user-friendly electronic form makes it easy to register your vacant property or small residential rental. While the registration requirement isn’t new, the simplified process helps keep your information accurate and up to date – and it’s free!
All required properties in unincorporated Pasco must be registered by April 30, 2026.
What Needs to Be Registered:
- Vacant property with or without structure
- Residential rentals with four units or fewer
Registration only takes a few minutes and must be renewed annually with updated vacancies or renter information. Accurate contact details help us respond quickly when issues or emergencies arise, supporting the safety of renters, property owners, and the community.
Property owners who receive a Code Compliance warning for failing to register will have 30 days to comply before facing a potential fine of $500 per day.
For more information or to file a complaint about a landlord or people living on vacant property unlawfully, email rentalregistry@mypasco.net or call Customer Service at 727.847.2411.
