PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  Pasco County is expanding our emergency response capabilities once again – this time with a brand‑new 911 Communications Center in Dade City.  The new facility strengthens our emergency operations and opens the door to expanded career opportunities for those ready to serve their community.

“Opening this second center is more than a facility milestone – it’s a people milestone,” says Emergency Services Director Captain Eric Seltzer.  “We’re growing, we’re modernizing and we’re creating new opportunities for people who want to build a meaningful career in public safety.”

Ready to start your career with Pasco County 911?  Our Emergency Communications team members are the steady, reassuring voice on the line when someone needs help most – supporting both our community and our first responders.

Our new Dade City center is a fully operational, full‑time 911 call center designed to enhance coverage, improve system resiliency, and serve as a critical backup to our New Port Richey location.  This investment reinforces Pasco County’s commitment to delivering the highest level of service to residents, visitors, and first responders.

Pasco County has also reached another public safety milestone – achieving full 911 consolidation.  Pasco is one of only a few Florida counties where all municipalities are served through a single, unified dispatch system.  This turning point represents years of collaboration and enhances the consistency of emergency communications across the county.
