The carnival rides, which in years past have been set up around Orange Lake, in the former Schwettman Education Center/Gulf High athletic field and in a parking lot on US Highway 19, will be located on the banks of the Pithlachascotee River - across from Sims Park - in downtown New Port Richey. What’s What New Port Richey

As always with signature, Chasco Fiesta™ takes a lot of time in the making – from the beginning, which tends to be right after the last one ends, and all the way through the next one.

A worker sets up chairs in the Sims Park amphitheater in downtown New Port Richey in preparation for the annual Chasco Fiesta™ (March 20-28). Entry to the park is $5 per night, except for the Native American Fest on Monday, March 23, which is FREE for all, and for special concert nights, where tickets are $ 20+.

These last days, the city is in the homestretch, setting up the sidewalk barriers for the street parade on Saturday, March 21, the seating arena for concerts in Sims Park, and across the way, where this year’s midway and carnival rides will be set up adjacent to the Pithlachascotee River boat ramp.

Should make for some nice nighttime photos.
