Looks Like It’s Safe to Go Back in the Water | Restrictions Lifted on Two Coastal Beaches

Tests conducted on Jul 30, 2026 indicate acceptable levels of bacteria at two beaches in Pasco County

Pasco, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels at the following location:

  • Oelsner Park, 5218 Miller Bayou Drive, Port Richey, FL 34668
  • Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, 6345 Clark St., Hudson, FL 34667


Tests completed on Thursday, July 30, 2026, indicate that the water quality at both locations meets the state-established Enterococcus bacteria level. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches. For more information, call 727-619-0300 or visit Pasco.FloridaHealth.gov.
