Prescribed Burn Notification for Pasco County for July 24, 2026

Conditions permitting, staff from the Southwest Florida Water Management District will conduct a 256-acre prescribed fire at Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve – West Tract in Pasco County starting at 11 a.m. today, July 24, 2026. The burn unit is located 0.5 miles west of SR 471 and 3.5 miles east of the River Road entrance.
