Richey Suncoast Theatre Returns to Its Roots With a Full-Day Showing of Silent Movies

The Richey Suncoast Theatre celebrates National Silent Movie Day with a full day of silent cinema on the silver screen.

Showings will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, with six movies featuring silent film stars such as Gloria Swanson, Buster Keaton, and Thomas Meighan, after whom the theatre was erected and named as part of an effort to build the Hollywood of the East in New Port Richey.

Theatregoers will also have the opportunity to tour and learn more about the theatre.
