The Pasco County Cooperative Extension will host a two-part workshop designed to help individuals and families learn practical strategies to reduce cancer risk.

Prevention Kitchen combines evidence-based health information with hands-on learning experiences, including food demonstrations, recipe tastings, and discussions focused on small, sustainable changes that can support long-term health.

Part 2: October 9th: cancer screening at your scheduled time

Cancer affects millions of individuals and families each year. While not all cancers can be prevented, research shows that healthy lifestyle choices can play an important role in reducing risk. Prevention Kitchen helps participants understand how everyday decisions related to food, movement, weight management, and recommended screenings can support overall health and well-being.
