Media Release | April 2025

Pasco County Fire Rescue held a groundbreaking event on Tuesday, April 8 for media, Pasco County leadership, and elected officials at what soon will be Fire Station #19.

The new station, located at 5025 Cross Bayou Boulevard in New Port Richey, will be Pasco County’s second modern, two-story fire station, following in the footsteps of Station 17 in New Port Richey.

This state-of-the-art facility will span 18,504 square feet and house four bays, all designed with the primary focus of promoting firefighter health, safety, and overall wellness.

Continuing the innovative approach seen in the county’s newly constructed fire stations, Station 19 will incorporate a cutting-edge hot, warm, and cold zone design — a proven method aimed at minimizing firefighter exposure to carcinogens and reducing cancer risks within the profession. This thoughtful design reaffirms Pasco County’s commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its firefighters.
