NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. (Tue., March 31, 2026) – The City of New Port Richey invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Fire Station No. 2 with a special Community Open House on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 5220 Grand Boulevard.
This family-friendly event offers residents a first look at the City’s newest public safety facility, designed to better serve a growing community and enhance emergency response capabilities. Guests will enjoy guided building tours, a touch-a-truck experience, giveaways, children’s activities, and an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog. Complimentary small bites and beverages will also be provided.
The new Fire Station No. 2 represents a significant investment in public safety infrastructure, replacing an aging facility with a modern, efficient space that supports firefighters and emergency personnel in delivering high-quality service.
“This new station reflects our commitment to protecting the community, and we’re proud to welcome residents inside to see how this facility will support our firefighters and strengthen service delivery,” said Fire Chief Chris Fitch.
City Manager Debbie L. Manns emphasized the broader community impact of the project.
