~~Family-friendly activities set for April 25 at Crews Lake Wilderness Park~~
SPRING HILL, FL —- Celebrate Mother Earth with the family at Pasco County’s 31st annual Earth Day Celebration! This FREE event promotes environmental education with tips on how to become more sustainable. The celebration includes a Florida-native plant sale, educational displays, and animal exhibits!
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2026
TIME: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHERE: Crews Lake Wilderness Park | 16739 Crews Lake Drive | Spring Hill
Take advantage of on-site recycling and waste disposal opportunities:
- Household Hazardous Waste Collection
- Electronics Recycling
- Document Shredding by Shred 360 | Limit 3 bags per person
- Mercury Disposal | Bring old thermostats/thermometers & receive a $5 gift card
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension is also offering two workshops at the event: Rain Barrel Workshop and Composting Workshop. Seating is limited, and pre-registration is required for the workshops:
