Auditions for Noises Off, written by Michael Frayn
Directed by Landon Greenwill, be held at 6 p.m. August 30 & 31 at the Richey Suncoast Theatre, at 6237 Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey.

Free street parking available. Enter through the main lobby doors.

WHO CAN AUDITION?· Ages 16+.· No prior experience required· All ethnicities, identities, and backgrounds encouraged· This is a volunteer, non-paid performance opportunity.
AUDITION PREP: If you are an actor who believes that reading is not a strength, please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue. The monologue is requested BUT NOT REQUIRED. We want to get a more complete picture of you as an actor.· There will be readings from the play. First come, first seen.·
WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in.·

COMMITMENT: There may be up to 4 rehearsals a week, between Sunday and Wednesday evenings (dependent upon cast and production team availability). TECH WEEK (Mandatory!): November 1-5. PERFORMANCES (Mandatory): November 6-8 & Nov 13-15.

REHEARSALS & TECH WEEK· Rehearsals begin after September 6 (3-4 days per week, based on cast & venue availability). Rehearsals will be in the evening.· Mandatory Tech Week: November 1-5, 2026 (full attendance required)·
Additional promotional appearances may be scheduled prior to performances.

SYNOPSIS
The story unfolds in three acts:
Act I: During a dress rehearsal of Nothing On, actors forget lines, miss cues, mishandle props, and clash with one another while their frustrated director struggles to keep the production on track.
Act II: One month into the tour, the audience sees the action from backstage. Romantic entanglements, jealousy, and personal feuds among the cast begin to sabotage the performance, resulting in increasingly hilarious mishaps.
Act III: Near the end of the tour, both the actors and the production are falling apart. The performance descends into complete comic disaster as everything that can go wrong does go wrong.
