City of New Port Richey
New Port Richey, Florida – Weather permitting, the City of New Port Richey Public Works Department will temporarily close Grand Boulevard between Tennessee Avenue & Georgia Avenue on Friday, February 27, 2026, to perform road restoration.

This closure is expected to begin at 7:30 AM and remain in effect through noon. To ensure safety and minimize traffic disruption, a detour will be in place during this time:
- Northbound traffic will be rerouted via Georgia Avenue
- Southbound traffic will be rerouted via Tennessee Avenue
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. Please
follow posted signage and exercise caution in the area.
