~~Three West Pasco neighborhoods see major improvements after joint county effort~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Spring cleaning hits a whole new level, and the results are hard to miss. The Pasco Board of County Commissioners is pleased to report another round of successful Community Cleanups – this time in three West Pasco neighborhoods. Pasco County’s Solid Waste, Public Works and Code Compliance teams joined forces to remove 280 tons of trash and debris – creating a safer and cleaner community.
Here’s a breakdown:
- Holiday Lake Estates: 26 tons
- Moon Lake: 212 tons
- Gulf Highlands: 42 tons
Total: 280 tons
“These are incredible results for District 4 and the Moon Lake area,” says Commissioner Lisa Yeager. “It really shows how much we can accomplish when we work together to improve our community.”
“It’s amazing to see how much of a difference our annual cleanups make,” adds Commissioner Kathryn Starkey. “Efforts like this help keep Pasco cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone.”
“Community cleanups serve a great purpose,” says Commissioner Jack Mariano. “They give everyone a convenient opportunity to get rid of things they’ve wanted to throw out but couldn’t find the time or place to do it.”
