What’s What New Port Richey

The May calendar has been filling up nicely with a wide array of events happening around town and beyond including the Second Annual Monarch Festival at the New Port Richey Public Library and the musical production of Oliver! which wraps up the 2023-2024 theatrical season at the Richey Suncoast Theatre.

Those looking for a special way to celebrate Mother’s Day might want to pick up tickets to the Richey Community Orchestra’s last dinner show and concert of the season which will be held at the Spartan Manor. This very talented group of musicians brought in record attendance for their April 1950’s show, which I can vouch was well worth the ticket.

Other events include comedy, a MJ Tribute Show, and a vintage showing of Superman at RST. Main Street New Port Richey 1950s Downtown Wine Stroll happens mid-month. The City of New Port Richey plays out the Concert in the Park season at Sims Park with a Journey band tribute, plus more events to check out
