Apply today for shovel-ready, affordable, multifamily, rental housing projects

PASCO COUNTY, FL —- Pasco County’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resources continues to build a Better Future for Pasco County! We’re launching our next Disaster Recovery initiative, the Better Future Affordable Housing Program, to invest in safe, long-term housing for low- to moderate-income families.

The program is limited to projects that are ready to break ground and encourages qualified organizations or developers working on multifamily, affordable rental housing to apply. Hurry – applications are due no later than April 28, 2026, by 1:30 p.m.

Eligible projects include multifamily home rehabilitation, construction of new multifamily housing, and construction or rehabilitation of single-family housing available for rent.

Pasco’s Affordable Housing Program is the second of several programs designed to help our community recover with nearly $586 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program. It includes damage by Hurricanes Idalia, Helene and Milton.
