***New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center Summer Camp, May 28- 19 at the Rec Center | Ages 5-12| $90 for residents | $105 for non-residents * Fills up quickly

Mullins Music 7th Annual ROCK WEEK Summer Camp, June 3-7 at Mullins Music in downtown NPR | $325 includes lunch

  • Rock Week is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for ages 12 – 18
  • Audition required.
  • Deadline to register is May 24.
  • The Rock Week Concert will be held on Friday, June 7th at the Richey Suncoast Theatre at 7 PM. The concert is FREE, but a ticket is required for entry! Click here to reserve your tickets (limit two per email address)

**Pasco County Extension Offering Junior Master Gardener Classes, each Wednesday, June 5-July 31 at the Hudson Regional Library in Hudson | Ages 8-11

The UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Junior Master Gardener Youth Educational Summer Series will be held from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesdays from June 5 through July 31 at the Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road. The program cost is $65 per child, which includes all activity materials and books.

  • Summer Camps are held June 10 through June 26 at various locations for kids ages 5- 13
  • Sign up for 2024 Summer Day Camp through Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources. Register ONLINE only | Space is limited
  • Pasco County residents can register for the full, seven-week program on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. 
  • If space is available, all families (including non-residents) can register for full or partial Summer Day Camp options at 10 a.m. Monday, April 15. 
  • Those registered for all seven weeks can sign up for before and after care on Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
  • Note – Pasco County also offers an inclusive Exceptional Play in Camp (EPIC)for children, ages 8 to 15, who may excel with additional support.

Mullins Music Jazz Week, June 24-28 at Mullins Music in downtown New Port Richey | Ages 12-18 |$325 (includes lunch)



Study the history of jazz, learn how to become a more successful improviser, rehearse all week with your jazz combo, compose an original song, and put on a live performance at the end of the week!

  • Held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily for ages 12-18
  • Audition required
  • The Jazz Week Concert will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28 at the Music Gallery. The concert is FREE, but a ticket is required for entry!
  • *PLEASE NOTE: A placement audition video is required to help ensure each student has an amazing Jazz Week experience!

Richey Suncoast Musical Theatre Summer Camp, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. July 1 -5 (ages 6-10) and July 8-12 (ages 11-15) at the theater in downtown NPR | $201 per week including fees

Includes four full days of theatrical instruction and a final performance on Friday. Aftercare is available. For info, go to the RST website here.


***HERricane Summer Camp, July 15 through July 19 at Pasco County Emergency Operations Center in New Port Richey | Young Women in Grades 9 -12 | Free

HERricane is a unique and FREE, week-long program developed in Arlington County, Virginia, offering a rare opportunity for young women in grades 9-12 to explore emergency management-related careers.

  • HERricane Summer Camp is open to young women enrolled in a Pasco County High School in August 2024 (i.e., incoming 9th grade students are welcome to apply).
  • Camp will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.at the  Pasco County Emergency Operations Center,  8744 Government Drive | Building A, New Port Richey.
  • Interested students should apply no later than Friday, May 3, 2024.  You can fill out the application, which includes a short essay question, by clicking here.  Students under 18 will need a parental/legal guardian’s signature.

HERricane is not just a learning experience; it’s a chance to gain valuable skills and training.  The program includes multiple sessions and activities with speakers from various fields. Upon completion, students will receive Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training and 40 volunteer hours.
