July 2026

What’s What New Port Richey
Celebrations are in order this month, starting off with the 100th anniversary of the Richey Suncoast Theatre, which kicks it off with a showing of the first ever film shown at the historic venue at 1926 prices. The cities of New Port Richey and Port Richey kicked off Independence Day a little early on the last weekend in June. However, there’s still more to come in July, including the annual Patriotic Golf Cart Roll and Ride on July 2, the Scallop Music Festival featuring July 4th fireworks at Sunwest Park in Hudson, and events on the east side of Pasco County. Richey Sunocast extends the patriotic festivities with a mid-month showing of the musical, 1776.
Add to that special summer activities at Railroad and Cavalaire Squares in downtown New Port Richey, NPR Main Street’s Fourth Friday, free movies, a summer concert, and one-act plays at local libraries, plus some “over the border” events to take in.
