Theatre season is up and running at Richey Suncoast Theatre, which will be hosting the raucous and highly anticipated return of The Rocky Horror Picture Show this month, complete with a shadow cast that’s been hard at rehearsals. This promises to be a fun night for those 18 and over, who are welcome to dress up and participate in the show with what have become traditional audience responses to characters as they appear on screen and the use of selective props from “goody bags” handed out to ticket holders as they arrive.
For those seeking a blast from the past, there are a variety of tribute concerts held at the theatre and the Starkey Ranch Library. Those looking for original fare can catch Lily Holbrook at the Month River Side Concert in Sims Park. Add to that some comedy. A presentation on the Mermaids of Weeki Wachee given by a real, live former mermaid. Movie and a Monster Mash Event in Sims Park. The West Pasco Art Guild hosts a reception and awards event for the “Seeing Nature” Art Show and Exhibit. And some ongoing community activities in Cavalaire Square in downtown New Port Richey.

As part of the Theatre Pass Program with the Richey Suncoast Theatre, your library card will get you two tickets to a theatre show.
